Cheap Tshirt Printing

Cheap Tshirt Printing

I get this all the time, I want to print t-shirts as cheap as possible. If it was so easy, every-one would be printing t-shirts for cheap The Truth is, if you order 5000>50 000 T-shirts, you will get cheap t-shirt printing. But if you order 10-50 tshirts, there is not much room to give cheap offers. Me personally, i prefer to stay away from printing cheap t-shirts and focus more on quality t-shirt printing. Recently ALL the t-shirt suppliers have been pushing their prices so high, it’s ridiculous to even compete with a store like JET. Sometimes i see tshirts for sale in retail stores like JET that are cheaper than our wholesale suppliers. That does not make sense ! And Hoodies as well: Hoodies> Mr price sells branded hoodies for R130>R170 One of my suppliers sells wholesale hoodies for R230. Now how is a person going to re-sell that to a customer and it still needs to have a print on it. Recently I have been selling hoodies for over R450>R800 with prints on them, when you buy less than 15 hoodies. As i Said, i focus on quality custom tshirt printing at tshirtprinting.co.za   The Wholesalers are the only companies really making a good profit out of the tshirt / branding printing industry. I like these hoodies for instance… They are form a popular wholesale company and we are supposed to re-sell this to our customers, But the hoodie costs> +/- R250 , they are really nice, but if you want to make money selling hoodies, you have to really sell this at a high price, I mean who wants to make R10>R40 off 1 hoodie? It’s not worth it anymore…

CHEAP TSHIRT PRINTING> OK, if you order 5000 tshirt from me, I will give you good deal> Visit tshirtprinting.co.za That is the best we can offer at tshirtprinting.co.za  , I personally don’t like these companies who make R5>R10 off a shirt, if they sell 50 shirts, they only make R500, how is a person going to pay their bills? I don’t get it? Yes, if you print 5000 tshirts a month and make R10 off each shirt, your making money, but most tshirt printing companies are all competing for work.. If you only get to print 100>500 shirts a month and make R10 off each shirt, your only going to break even and after expenses, you will be in the RED.   This is the Very reason Why at tshirtprinting.co.za Our Focus is on high Quality Vs Cheap tshirt printing. We can give you Cheap t-shirts, but at the end of the day, if this is what you want, we can help you with cheap tshirt printing. But please , we all need to make some money and we can’t go too cheap. I hate it when people come to me and compare me with another printing company.. O> I can get it cheaper at these guys, Well fine. But as a self employed entrepreneur who does everything hands on, I simply can not compete with all these cheap tshirt printing companies… + the suppliers have pushed their prices up almoust over R20 in the past few years. If i hear of people getting a tshirt for R25.. then your obviously getting something that will tear after first wash. My tshirts generally go for R95> R350 depeding how many you order… If you order 5000 from me, then we can start talking about numbers around R35>R55 per shirt. Hope you understand, it’s not that easy anymore to offer cheap cheap tshirt printing. Even the suppliers who supply us are selling their wholesale shirts > good quality ones at R45… We can get standard qulaity shirts at R35 +/- but still, one needs to print on it, setup cost, labour cost and at the end of the day. I prefer to sell at R95 for order of 30+… It’s the economy to blame. Everything is going up and we must realize getting cheap tshirt printing is not a reality anymore, unless you order BULK. Contact us at tshirtprinting.co.za, written by Guy Tasker, the owner and creator of tshirtprinting.co.za For customized high quality and cheap tshirt printing. I will help you to my best ability. Please bare in mind we need to help each other and we all need to pay bills, so my price is the cheapest i can sell it to you for…

How to start your own T-shirt Brand?

Starting a NEW t-shirt brand is Fun and exciting ! First I would recommend getting a cool name…

Do your research….

Research what other brands are doing, what makes them so popular?

Why do people Buy those brands?

Think up a cool name….

Google search the name and see if anybody is using the name already?

Do a domain search and see if you can buy the domain name: ie: mycoolbrand.com

I would definitely start with buying a domain name…

If you have the capital to register your name, trademark it – go for it. Most of us don’t have the cash to fork out on trademarking a brand name from the get go, so I recommend ‘JUST STARTING IT’

This is the best advise I can give anybody wanting to start their own clothing brand: JUST START IT !

& when your successful then look into trademarking your name…

Once you have decided on a ‘brand name’ you know need a BRAND DESIGN..

I will recommend you contact a professional designer like Guy Tasker who is a excellent brand / clothing brand / professional logo design expert:

Here is an example of a cool Clothing brand design done by Guy Tasker.

The brief was to make a cool clothing brand logo brand design for a ‘gun clothing range’

A good clothing brand / logo design is a logo that can be very versatile..

You will notice this logo can be used in one colour of in a detailed full colour design…

This logo brand can be printed small on a label and large on a t-shirt..

This logo can be printed in any colour and you still know who it is…

The Best brands in the world apply this technique..

Your Brand logo design must also be ICONIC & UNIQUE !

If you apply these guidelines to your clothing brand design, you will succeed !

How to become a T-shirt designer?

How to become a COOL T-shirt designer?

I will tell you what to do, how to do it and even if you can’t design, I have a solution for you…

Well I’ve been an artist all my life, from my school days.. I was excelling in art classes..

I presume if your into T-shirt Design and want to be a cool t-shirt designer, you need to know a bit, or a lot about Art and design!

You will need to study art and design and dedicate hours to practice and perfect your skill…

Design programs I use is: Freehamd mx / Adobe illustrator for vector art and design.

I also use Photoshop to add effects and dimension to ‘certain’ designs.

I studied 4Years at University and got myself a Diploma in graphic Design and a Degree in Multi-media Design at the Vaal University of Technology..

This Helped a lot with my Basic skills and Helped me a lot with the ART of Drawing…

To Become a True artist / designer you need to know how to DRAW… And Draw like a master ! Perfect your style and then learn more about design and how to use that design program…

When I was studying, the 1st year of our studies was dedicated to learning Art and design and drawing. It was only in my second year when the PC work started. This is how important it is to have a foundation in art and design before you begin to learn the programs..

How-ever if you look at t-shirt designs I did in my University(2001-2004) days and you look at the stuff I do now(2012)… There is a huge difference..

A lot & I mean a lot of my experience was gained from 2005 on wards doing actual work for clients.. My clients pushed me and I just go better and better through the years…

You need to learn the basics with art and design and drawing to become a great t-shirt designer, but from there it’s all about experience.. You need to gain experience in your field and be passionate about design.. and you will become a great T-shirt designer..

If you have no skills and want to get into t-shirt design, that is also not a big problem these days… I’ll tell you what people do…

For those of you who have no training in the art world and want to start a brand or get into t-shirt design. Simply hire a designer.
